Care givers need care too

All of us who are living with illness,

 are in need of support

in our day to day existence.

(... in fairness we all need support in some way, 

but that is a story for another day)

Carers, 

or care givers, 

allow us to live at home

in our own environment

I am hugely grateful

 for all the support 

I have had over the years

Carers

are the lifeline 

of many

Unfortunately

 they do not always 

get the acknowledgements

 they deserve

Please give them some thoughts 

over the coming weeks
Or some pampering
or a listening ear
or hug

With every best wish 

to those unsung heroes!
