Day Fifty-three: something growing in my greenhouse

I walked into my greenhouse
polytunnel to be precise
and from the corner of my eye
I saw something moving

Robert
Lying in a seed tray

Growing?
Or just having found
a new place
to take in
the ever dwindling heat?

very cute! he only JUST fits doesn't he?! merli likes to garden with me ( i think the fact that he isn't normally able to get in with it fenced off is the big attraction)...'helped' the other day by sitting on a baby lettuce for me.

He sleeps in anything as long as it in a warm spot. He made me laugh!
Helping cats.... The minute I plant somehing in the garden, he thinks that I loosened the soil for him to "poop" in... I have to put sticks and stones and anything else i can find around the baby plants.

Was your lettuce flat? :-)

cats are very good for making you laugh - really the best therapy...every kind of health insurance should include provisions for feline company. i know, mer thinks gardens are the best giant litter boxes around too (fair enough actually, all the other soil around is pretty much as hard as rock). i think the lettuce was pretty flat!
